SANDERS Mary Lou Sanders, 86, of London died Thursday, March 15, 2018 in her residence. Born January 20, 1932 in Zanesville, Ohio; she was a daughter of Stanley and Florence (Ansel) Rea. Mary Lou was active in the Phi Beta Psi Sorority, was an avid bridge club player, was a volunteer at Madison County Hospital and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of London. Survivors include her children Karen L. Sanders, Susan (Michael) Howland, Kimberly Sanders-Smith and Stephen Sanders; grandchildren Tarrah McCoy, Ryan Howland, Whitney Graham, Royalan Liff, Glendale Liff and Jason Wickline; several great and great-great grandchildren; sister Jean Hickey; several nieces and nephews; her beloved companion Louie and life-long best friend Becky Walstrom. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Roy Sanders; grandchildren Bradley Rutherford and Jennifer Smith; sister Maggie (Vernon) Schilling and brother Bob Rea. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. The family suggests memorials in Mary Lou's name be made to the American Cancer Society.
