LANIGAN

Mary Lanigan, 85, of London died Wednesday, August 14, 2019 in her residence.

Born January 20, 1934 in Springfield; she was a daughter of Robert L. and Margaret (Phillips) Baumgardner.

Mary had been a school cook for Madison Plains and had belonged to the Worthwhile Club and the Young Homemakers Club.

She is survived by her children Margaret Lanigan (Paul McFadden), Brian (LeeAnne) Lanigan and Aaron Lanigan (Ruth Ernst); grandchildren Amanda Bailey (Matt Williams), Clay Carroll, Tara Carroll and Erin Carroll; great-grandson David Lanigan (Michela Palmer), nieces and nephews Joanne (George) Coryn, Matt (Gay) Christian, Susan (Keith) Campbell, Amy (Christian) Henry and Casey (Richi) Murphy, special friend Sissy Wiseman.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Walter Lanigan on April 28, 2019, sister Magdalene Christian and dear friend Phyllis Ryan.

Friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London from 4-7 PM Sunday, August 18, 2019. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, London with Pastor Sue McClelland officiating.
