Mary Catherine "Katie" Arnett, 80, of London, died Saturday, November 5, 2022, in her residence.

Born February 7, 1942, in Newport, Ohio; she was the daughter of Elbert and Marie (Birchfield) Bumgarner.

Katie had worked for Cascade, International Steel Wool and Jefferson Industries. She loved her flower and vegetable gardens, feeding her birds, but especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter Cindy Johnson (fiancée Mike), sons Doug (Jeanie) Arnett and Bobby Arnett; grandchildren David John, Steven Paul, Misty, James and Brittany; great-grandchildren Nick, Katie, Devon, Gus, Isobel, Russell and Annalee; brothers Jim Bumgarner and Gene Bumgarner and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Arnett, daughter Brenda Buskirk, brothers Tom Bumgarner, Chuck Bumgarner and son-in-law Bobby Johnson.

A Celebration of Katie's life will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 2:00 - 5:00 PM in the family's residence, 139 Chandler Avenue, London, Ohio 43140.
