JACOBS Mary T. Jacobs, 93, of London, formerly of Akron, died Friday, February 13, 2015 in the Madison House. Born December 26, 1921 in Akron; she was a daughter of Amelia (Schoenbachler) and Bernard Flechler. Mary was a former member of St. Francis de Sales in Akron Ohio, a past President of the American Legion Post #566 Auxiliary and a member of the Firestone Post #3383 Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include her sons Lee (Fran) Jacobs and David (Liz) Jacobs; daughter in law Nancy Jacobs; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; sisters Elaine Jackson and Ruth Magoulick; Gert Flechler sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert, son Norman Jacobs, brother Norman Flechler and sister Dorothy McGough. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 AM Thursday, February 19, 2015 in St. Patrick Catholic Church, London with Father Mark Ghiloni officiating. Interment services will be Friday, 1:15 PM February 20, 2015 in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio. Visitation will not be observed.
