GARDNER Mary Jane Gardner, 96, of London passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the Madison Senior Living Community. Born February 18, 1919 in Madison County she was the daughter of John and Louis (Hankins) Slaughter. She was a farmers wife most of her life and enjoyed the farm life. Survivors include her daughter Sharon Kay (Doug) Markley; grandchildren Kaylene Bateman, Mark (Renee) Markley, Troy Markley; great grandchildren Meghan (Adam) Bateman, Tyler and Brittany Markley and Madison Markley; sister Sally (Bill) Hawke. She was preceded in death by her husband Porter E. Gardner, her parents, and brother James Slaughter.Visitation will not be observed and graveside services will be held Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Georgesville, Ohio. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to a favorite charity. The family would like to thank The Madison Senior Living Community and Hospice of Miami Valley for everything that they did.
