Mary Margaret Towe, 70, of London, died Saturday, August 10, 2024, in London Health and Rehabilitation.

Born November 16, 1953, in Cleveland, she was a daughter of William Bierbower and Rella (Bower) Bierbower.

Mary had a firecracker personality with unmatched devotion and passion for helping others. She began her career nursing at a young age and continued to serve others for almost 45 years before retiring in 2018 from Springfield Regional Hospital. A strong-willed woman who was never shy, she was sure to always be honest, true to herself, and you could count on her to speak her mind. Mary enjoyed shopping, gardening, and swimming, but her favorite pastime was always spending time with her family.

Left behind to continue Mary's legacy include her children Michelle (Phil) Grant, Christa Towe, and David Towe; grandchildren Nathan (Madison) Nagel, Alexa Nagel (fiancé Mason Howard), Aidan Grant, Addison Grant; great-grandchildren Cecilia, Sunnie, and Jase Nagel; brother William "Budy" (Marla) Bierbower, sister Fran (Stan) Taylor; several nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband Timothy Towe.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140. A funeral service will then begin at 7:00 PM with Pastor Ron Grant officiating. Cremation will then take place in accordance with Mary's wishes.
