Martha “Marti” (Combs) Thevenin, born May 11, 1949, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away August 10, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved her dearly. 

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Loren and Marjorie Combs. She is survived by her loving husband, Victor; her brother, Jim; and her dear stepchildren, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. 

A proud graduate of THE Ohio State University, Martha retired after a career with the State of Ohio. 

Martha found great joy in creating things for the people she loved. A talented crafter, she made beautiful handmade gifts, cards, and photo albums that became treasured keepsakes. She was also a wonderful baker, and her birthday cakes were always anticipated and lovingly appreciated. Her talent even earned her a blue-ribbon award for her carrot cake at the Madison County Fair. 

Above all, Martha will be remembered for her generous heart and thoughtful nature. She had a way of making people feel remembered and special. The beautiful things she created will remain, but it is the love behind them that will be missed most.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 17, 2026, from 12:00 – 1:00 PM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140. Funeral services will commence at 1:00 PM with Pastor Sue McClelland officiating. Interment will follow in Deercreek Township Cemetery.
