WEDDLE Mark Edwin Weddle, 92, of South Vienna, passed away peacefully at Good Shepherd Village in Springfield, OH on Monday, October 28, 2013. He was born February 27, 1921 in Indiana, and was the son of Charles Mark and Amelia (Hergenreder) Weddle. He graduated from high school in Muncie, IN and attended Cedarville College. Mark retired from the Clark County Engineer's Office where, for 35 years, he loved designing and building bridges. He was also a registered surveyor in the state of Ohio. After retiring, he enjoyed photography, woodworking, and farming. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Alma (Davis) Weddle of South Vienna, OH; daughter and husband, Ruthellen "Cheri" & John Schickedantz of South Charleston, OH; granddaughter and husband, Betsy & Adam Grimes of New York, NY; nephew and wife, Jerry & Debbie Ball of London, OH; grand-nieces and nephews, Cathy Ball, Kyle (Emily) Ball, Kevin Ball, Teresa (Scott) Powell, and Karen Ball; and step-sister Patricia (Robert) Eddleman of Indianapolis, IN. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 AM on Friday, November 1, 2013 at EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, London, OH. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 AM at Kirkwood Cemetery, London, with Pastor Steve Hilgeman officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Harmony Township EMS.
