Margaret "Peggy" Sparks, 79, of London died Thursday, March 4, 2021 in Madison Health.

Born May 14, 1941 in Portsmouth, Ohio; she was a daughter of Ballard and Sally (Rigsby) Sparks. For over 40 years,

Peggy was employed with American Electric Power. Normally a very shy and quiet person, she did have a wonderful sense of humor. She was a former Sunday School teacher and had also belonged to a water ballet group.

The matriarch of the family, Peggy joins her family that preceded her in death, her father and mother Ballard and Sally and her siblings Marvin Sparks, Jim Sparks, Patricia Bierbaugh, Barbara Jean Chesser, Beverly Sue Brinson, Judy Crain, Janet Sparks and Brenda Sparks and several nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews Linda (Lonzo) Burton, Jeff Sparks, Jimmy Sparks, Jerri (Floyd) Williams, Kelly Sparks, Tim Bierbaugh, Rick (Michelle) Bierbaugh, Donna Smith, Denise (Steve) Nibert, Heidi (Jimmy) Bausch, Donnie Hinckle, Kari (Johnny) Colburn, Lori Crain and Lisa (Terry) Crain; numerous great, great-great and great-great-great nieces and nephews. Peggy loved animals of all kinds especially her constant companion Missy.

Funeral service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, March 9, 2021 in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London with Dr. Teena Gallagher officiating. Interment will follow in Kirkwood Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-7 PM Monday.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Peggy's name be made to the Madison County Humane Society, PO Box 84, West Jefferson, Ohio 43162.
