LAWRENCE Margaret M. Lawrence, 82, of London died January 6, 2016 in her residence. Born April 19, 1933 in Grand Tower, IL; she was a daughter of William Thomas Rice and Gladys Marie (Fraley) Rice Dean. A member of the First Christian Church of Springfield, she was also a past member of the Pythian Sisters, Modern Temple #433 and had worked for Consolidated Stores for many years. Survivors include her children Shirley Ann Gordon of Sedalia, Sherry Sue and Terry Dyer and Tom and Betty Lawrence of London; 11 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; sister in law Betty Rice of South Charleston, several nieces and nephews and long time friends Pat and Helen. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lawrence in 1987, brothers Leroy Thomas, Fred and Billy Rice, daughter Nanette Dillion and sons in law Ralph Gordon and Ralph Dillion. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London with Reverend Phil Conrad officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Springfield. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-7 PM Monday.
