PRICE M. Ruth Price, 88, of London, Ohio died Saturday, August 20, 2016 in Dayton.Born January 21, 1928 in West Jefferson; she was a daughter of Pearl and Anna (Miller) Stickel.A well known quilter in the Madison County area; Ruth was also a member of the Madison County Farm Bureau, the Open Gate Garden Club, a 4-H advisor for Green Range 4-H club and Range Community Grange. A long time member of the Newport United Methodist Church where she was a former president of the UMW; she was also a member of Eastern Star Lodge #386, London Chapter and was a former secretary and worthy matron for the former Nellie Counts Lodge in Sedalia. Survivors include her children Pamela (Roger) Call, Charles (Claudia) Price both of London, Mary (Earl) Collins of Kingston, WA, Thomas (Pamela) Price of West Jefferson, Steven Price and Nancy (Steven) Creamer both of London; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brother Cyril Stickel of Ashville; sisters Gertrude Beckman of PA and Mary Evans of West Jefferson; several nieces and nephews and sisters in law Phyllis Stickel of West Jefferson and Marian Stickel of New Castle, WY.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Wayne in 2015, brothers George, Joe, Dick, Bill, John and Larry and sister Virginia. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME, 103 N. Main St, London with Pastor Jeff Smalley officiating. Interment follows in Kirkwood Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday, where OES services will be held at 7:30 PM.
