SMITH Lucy M. Smith, 85, of London died Sunday morning in Madison County Hospital. Born July 3, 1928 in London; she was a daughter of Sheridon and Bertha M. (Cartwright) Kuhn. Lucy was a member of the First United Methodist Church of London and had formerly worked as a secretary in the Insurance Field. Survivors include her son Ted Smith (Lisa Caudy) of London; four grandchildren, an aunt, several cousins and best friend Iris Dixon of Waverly. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, husband Walter Smith and son Timothy Smith. Inurnment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, West Jefferson will be held 1:00 PM Friday.
