BEAVER Louise Beaver, 96, of London died Saturday, April 25, 2015 in the Bluebird Retirement Community, London. Born April 26, 1918 in New Holland, Ohio; she was a daughter of Jesse Adam and Ruth (VanSkoy) Minnick. She was a loving and caring person and was her mother's caretaker for 20 years. Louise was a long time faithful member of the Church of Christ In Christian Union (CCCU) in London. She enjoyed her garden and loved working with flowers. Louise loved to travel; she was a bicycle enthusiast and she and her mother, Ruth owned and operated The Minnick Antique Store in London for many years. Survivors include her brother Wilbur K. Minnick of The Plains, OH; sister, Ruth Ann Winker of Fairborn, Ohio; several nieces and nephews and sister in law Virginia Minnick of London. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Elden "Red" Beaver, brothers William and Kenneth Minnick and sister Winona Pope. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Saturday in the Center Street CCCU with Reverend Lee Stanley officiating. Interment will follow in Kirkwood Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the church from 12 noon until time of services.
