RUNYON Louis "Fred" Runyon, 81, of London died Sunday, December 1, 2013 in Columbus. Born March 28, 1932 in Scottown, OH; he was a son of Walter and Edith (McCafferty) Runyon. A carpenter by trade, Fred was also a US Army veteran of the Korean War, a member of Madison Memorial Post #105, American Legion, a lifetime member of the VFW as well as the Carpenters Union. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Patsy (Conley) Runyon, daughters Linda L. (Chris) Sollars, Kim A. Runyon and Fredda S. (Chuck) Gaver; grandchildren Wendi M. (Cain) Faulkner, Brandi L. (Sollars) Severt, Ebonie L. (Russell) Thomas, Mari E. Russell, Christopher C. Sollars, Chelsi Cain, Patricia L. Russell, Megan Gaver and Erin Gaver; 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his daughter Sheila K. Runyon, his parents, one sister and three brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London with Reverend Jerry Newman officiating. Interment follows in Oak Hill Cemetery, where military honors will be bestowed by Madison Memorial Post #105, American Legion.
