SNYDER

Lois (Smith) (Bowman) Snyder, 91, of Plumwood; died Tuesday, November 19, 2019 in her residence.

Born February 25, 1928 in Charleston, WV; she was a daughter of J.C. and Louise (Knapp) Adkins.

Lois had formerly attended the Gospel Tabernacle in London and the Plumwood Church of Christ in Christian Union. She had been a cook and waitress at the former 76 Truckstop.

She was preceded in death by her husband Vinton Smith; sons Vinton Wayne "Butch" Smith and Roy Douglass Smith and sister Sarah Pinney.

Lois leaves behind many friends who will miss her.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London with Pastor Tracy Dague officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon until time of services Thursday. Private burial will be held in Leon Cemetery, Leon WV.
