MARTIN Leonard "Lee" Martin, 81, of London passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born July 12, 1937 in Washington CH; he was a son of Leroy and Kathleen Bernice (Beatty) Martin. Lee was a US Army Korean veteran; retired from Amtecko, loved playing chess, dominoes, fishing. He loved visiting with family and friends on his front porch. He was also an avid OSU Buckeye and Cincinnati Bengal fan. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Norma Jean (Thomas) Martin; granddaughter Tamika (BJ) Wall, grandson Allen Haithcock; great-grandchildren Tamika, Treg and Kenya; a host of nieces and nephews; brothers in law Ray and Don Thomas and many special friends including Sandy, Mike, Mitchell, Kenny, Donnell, Mikey, Chop and Spunk. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father John Poole, son Ricky L. Martin and brother Gene Edward Martin. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Monday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St, London with Rev. Melvyn Huguely officiating. Interment follows in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 AM-1 PM Monday. The family suggests memorials be made to the Madison County Veterans. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
