STAPLETON Leona Stapleton, 97, of London died Monday, November 10, 2014 in Madison County Hospital. Born October 2, 1917 in London; she was a daughter of L.S. and Josie (Salyer) Hall. A member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Leona had worked and retired from the State of Ohio. Survivors include her sons James W. (Betty) Stapleton of Huber Heights and Gary (Becky) Stapleton of London; six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James L. Stapleton in 1992. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London with Pastor Orinda Hawkins-Brinkley officiating. Interment will follow in Kirkwood Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 Noon until time of services.
