MARTIN Laura E. Martin, 63, of London died Monday, April 28, 2014 in her residence. Born July 31, 1950 in Columbus; she was a daughter of Richard and Rowena (Self) Simkins. Laura was an accomplished artist and was a world traveler-filling up most of her passport. Survivors include her children Samantha Martin of London, Thomas Martin of San Diego and Timothy (Andrew Peppercorn) Martin of Columbus; grandson Darion Martin; her father Richard Simkins of London; siblings Rosemary "Rosie" (Ed) Miller of London, Richard "Dickie" Simkins, Jr. of West Jefferson and Amy (Rob) Summers of London, brother in law Mark Byerly of Plumwood, many nieces and nephews and her partner Joseph Reeves of London. She was preceded in death by her mother, sister Barbie Byerly and husband Charles "Chuck" Martin. Per her request, Laura is to be cremated. Visitation and funeral services will not be observed. The family is being served by the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London.
