Obituary

MOREHART Robert "Larry" Morehart, 76, of London died Sunday, January 4, 2015 in his residence. Born August 1, 1938 in Mt. Sterling, Ohio; he was the son of James Earl and Lena Frances (Terry) Morehart. Larry, a lifetime farmer, had retired from GM where he had worked as a certified journeyman welder for 38 years. Larry loved British bikes and steam engines having participated in the Miami Valley Steam Threshers Association for 43 years. He was a 1st Sgt of the 30th OVI Reenactment Unit for the past 12 years and a member of the UAW. Larry was a member of Chandler Lodge #138 F & AM and had been a member of the US Army 82nd Airborne. He had also worked at the Eberle-Fisher Funeral Home for the past 10 years. Larry is survived by his wife of 53 years, Donna (McGuire) Morehart; son John Morehart and daughter Christina (Paul) Dowler; grandchildren Morgan Dowler and Madison Morehart; brother Jerry (Diana) Morehart all of London and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother James E. Morehart and his beloved, faithful companion, Zip. Friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London from 12 - 2 and 4-6 PM on Friday with Masonic funeral services beginning at 6 PM.
