JONES Larry E. "Jonesy" Jones, 65 of London passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 7:28 PM at Country Glen in Washington Court House. He was the son of the late Scott N. and Fern (Sanders) Jones. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Barbara (Miller) Jones. Larry loved his wife and working on his "57" Chevy. He was always working on his car until his health started failing. For the past 36 years, Larry was also a plumber and welder in Madison County. A US Veteran of the US Navy during the Vietnam Wa, Larry was a member of Madison Memorial Post #105, American Legion, DAV Chapter #19 and FOE, Aerie #950, London. He also leaves a sister Linda (Russ) Vandemark of Jonesboro, GA; their son and his family Michael (Patty) Vandemark and Michael II all of McDonough, GA, their daughters and their families Michelle (James) Fileccia and Taylor of Hampton, GA and Melinda (Wayne) Pepper and Scott Ethridge of Dallas, GA; in laws Marcella (Delmar) Burkett of Wilmington, OH, Lawrence Miller of London, Carol Miller of Columbus, Marlene (Barry) Barrett of Middletown, OH, several nieces and nephews and many, many loving friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, mother and father in law, several brothers in law and one sister in law. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London with Pastor Carolyn Peacock officiating. Interment will follow in Deercreek Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-6 PM Monday.
