In Loving Memory of Lana Carol (Ackley) Webb.
It is with deep reverence and tender hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Lana, who graced this world on May 28, 1959, and departed to Heaven on March 5, 2025, at Scioto Rehabilitation and Care Center.
Lana was a beacon of kindness and strength, a woman of unwavering grace and boundless compassion. She touched the hearts of many with her gentle smile and wise words, offering warmth and understanding to all who knew her.
Born in Columbus, Ohio, Lana lived a life rich in love and dedication. She devoted herself selflessly to her family, nurturing her loved ones with care and affection. Her ability to inspire those around her was unparalleled, a testament to her resilient spirit, generous heart and love for Jesus. Lana loved the ocean, especially Myrtle Beach where she loved to hunt for shark teeth. She found joy in small moments and embraced life's challenges with courage and optimism. Her laughter was a melody that brought light into any room, and her stories will forever be a cherished legacy in our hearts. She leaves behind a tapestry of beautiful memories filled with her unwavering love and compassion.
Lana is survived by her devoted spouse, David Smith; her children: Jeremiah (Lacy) Webb, William Webb, and Donald (Jessica) Webb; her grandchildren: Jayden, Dallas, Amelia, Lincoln, and Theo; many other family members and special friends, and her loyal companion Daisy May. All who will forever carry her spirit in their hearts. As we mourn the loss of an extraordinary soul, we also celebrate the treasured moments we shared with Lana. Her legacy of love will continue to guide us and inspire us to lead lives filled with kindness and joy.
A funeral service in her honor will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140, with Pastor Tom Gardner officiating. Interment will follow in Somerford Township Cemetery. Lana's family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help pay for funeral expenses. Memorials may be submitted online via the "Donations" tab on the top of the obituary, or by contacting the funeral home directly.
Rest in the arms of Jesus, dear Lana. You are deeply loved and will be profoundly missed, but your spirit will forever embrace those who hold you dear. With heartfelt love and remembrance.
