KIMBLER

Kip Edward Kimbler, age 61 of Springfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 18, 2026, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on November 29, 1964, in London, Kip was a son of Kenneth Kimbler and Helen (McCarty) Kimbler. Kip lived a life full of simple pleasures, good laughter, and endless love for those closest to him. An avid fisherman, he was happiest out on the water waiting for a bite. Saturday in the fall were strictly reserved for Ohio State football, cheering on the Buckeyes with a cold beer in hand and his favorite people by his side. Above all else, Kip lived for the time he spent with his family, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Kip is survived by his girlfriend Lori Castle; children: Natasha Kimbler (Amhrod Patterson), Kendra Kimbler (Corey Penwell), Takaylie (Taquan) Danielles, Kyria Kimbler, and Kerry Kimbler; 15 grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; sister Candy (Mark) Nelson, brother Kevin Kimbler; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Helen; brother Kerry Kimbler, sister Lisa Kimbler; nephews Joshua Kimbler and Jacob Kimbler.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM in Paint Memorial Cemetery, 1869 Old Xenia Road, London, Ohio 43140.
