WARD

Ken Ward, 76, of London, died Saturday, February 18, 2023, in the Madison Senior Living Community.

Born December 23, 1946, in Paintsville, KY; he was the son of Ervin and Irene (Stanley) Ward.

An avid outdoorsman, Ken loved traveling, camping, fishing and spending time with his family. He had belonged to Crossroads Community Church in London and had worked as a security guard and mechanic.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Loretta (Hannah) Ward; children Deanna Slone, Damon (Kimberly) Ward and Kendra Ward (fiancé Dallas Taynor); grandchildren Taylor (Phil) VanScoy, Josh Burkhammer, Dylan Slone, Maranda Burkhammer, Sam Ward, Erin Ward, Steve Ward, April Ward and Ashlyn Ward; great grandchildren Parker, Logan and Mavis; sister Wanda Ousley; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, February 21, 2023, in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main street, London, with Pastor Thad Gifford officiating. Interment will follow in Paint Memorial Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 PM-7 PM Monday, February 20, 2023.

The family suggests memorials in Ken's name be made to either Crossroads Community Church, 2262 St. Rt. 56 SE, London, Ohio 43140 or to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
