Obituary

MINNICK Keith W. Minnick, 63, of Mt. Sterling, died Monday, November 18, 2013 in Columbus. Born September 19, 1950 in Springfield, he was the son of Wilbur Keith and Cecile Emma (Fleming) Minnick. Keith owned and operated IPS (Insulated Panel Specialist) and attended the Crossroads Community Church in London. Keith lived life fully, and enjoyed "riding with the wind" on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was a hard-working contractor and entrepreneur who took pleasure in tinkering in his barn, working on various projects. Keith loved opening his home to big family gatherings and he was the family handyman, always willing to help or "rescue" family and friends with their home projects. Keith had a hard exterior, but a soft heart, and was lovingly called a great "Step-Pops" by some of his children. Survivors include his loving wife Dawn (Cain-Stanley) Minnick, sons Wilbur "Chip" (Amy) Minnick and Kevin (Lynn) Minnick; daughters Adrienne Stanley and Jessica Stanley; six grandchildren; his father Wilbur Minnick; sisters Kena Minnick and Karla (Greg) Johnson; five nieces and nephews; Aunt Louise Beaver, several cousins, mother-in-law Freda Cain, several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and many friends. Keith was preceded in death by his mother Cecile on October 18, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London, with Pastor Thad Gifford officiating. Interment will follow in Bloomingburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 AM until time of services Friday.
