ANTHONY

Kathleen Anthony, 83, of Midway, died Monday, February 19, 2024, in the Bluebird Retirement Community, London.

Born March 31, 1940, in South Solon, Ohio, she was a daughter of Ruth (Shipley) Potts. Kathy graduated from Madison South in 1958. She worked as a secretary for Midway School for 28 years. She attended the Newport United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women's group. Kathy enjoyed warm summers tending to her flowers and yard, golfing, and traveling. She traveled as far as Israel, Thailand and France but her favorite destination was always a sunny beach. Above all, what she enjoyed most was spending time with her grandsons.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Mark Anthony; children Carrie Craig, Mark (Julie) Anthony, and Beth Smith; grandsons Cody (Caylee) Craig and Cole Smith; sister Dorothy Smith; several nieces and nephews.

Kathy was preceded in death by her mother Ruth Potts and brother Bill Potts.

A celebration of Kathy's life will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, beginning at 4:00 PM at the Anthony Farms, 14381 State Route 38 SE, South Solon, Ohio 43153. The family would kindly appreciate an RSVP to be sent to bethsmithrd@gmail.com if possible.
