THIEL Katherine L. Thiel, 92, of Washington CH, died Wednesday, November 6, 2013 in Washington CH. Born November 21, 1920 in Summerford, she was a daughter of John and Ida (Rafferty) Fisher. A long time resident of London; Katherine was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in London. Survivors include her daughters Ardis Thiel and Cynthia (Lynn) Shoemaker, both of Washington CH; grandchildren Nathan Shoemaker, Monica (Scott) Hammond, Suzanne (Dan) Morrison all of Washington CH; great grandchildren Justin Shoemaker, Levi, Nora and Celia Morrison, Cordelia Hammond, Kristina, Tony, Elena, Joey and Dominic Sorrentino and Brandon, Garrett, Tristan and Marlena Osterhues, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, William Thiel on November 27, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London. Interment will follow in Somerford Township Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon until time of services Saturday.
