LINDSEY

Karen Lee Lindsey, 69, of London, died Tuesday, May 24, 2022, in the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Born April 11, 1953, in Springfield, she was a daughter of Robert Clark and Alma Juanita (Knisley) Dorn.

She was always a hardworking woman regardless of the task at hand. Throughout her lifetime she had worked as a teacher's aide, in cleaning, and for Travelers Insurance. Karen enjoyed coaching, cooking, bowling, and above all she loved her family.

Karen is survived by her son Kevin Lindsey, daughter Kristy (Kevin) Riley; grandchildren Zane and Bria Riley; siblings Sandy (Lynn) Stoughton, Cindy (Chris) Mace, Bobby Dorn, Nita (Dana) Hughes and Rhonda Waddle; uncle Jack (Ann) Knisley; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and lots of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Juanita Dorn; husband Kenny Lindsey; in laws Beck and Mildred Lindsey; and nephew Jeff Stoughton.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at the First United Methodist Church, 52 North Main Street, London, with Pastor Sue McClelland officiating. Interment will follow in Paint Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call the church from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
