June V. Hughes, 91, of London, died very suddenly on Saturday, June 29, 2024, in Riverside Methodist Hospital.

Born June 21, 1933, in Bloomingburg, she was a daughter of Loren Theodore Vincent and Mary Ellen (Yeoman) Vincent.

June spent her career as the bookkeeper and secretary for the former London Truck and Tractor. Formerly a member of the London Lions Club, June made many good friends through her service. A woman of strong faith, she also was a member of the Newport United Methodist Church.

She leaves behind her adoring husband of 71 magical years, Richard "Dick" Hughes; daughter Michelle "Micki" (Greg Buckley) Hughes; grandson Jordan (Ginny Kaelin) Hughes-Buckley and granddaughter Laurel (Kevin) Wong; great-grandchildren Alexis Hughes, Corinne Hughes and Connor Wong; brothers Les (Zana) Vincent, Bob Vincent and Rick (Karen) Vincent; and many nieces and nephews.

June was preceded in death by her parents, as well as brothers Ted Vincent, Kenny Vincent, and Jack Vincent.

Cremation will take place in accordance with June's wishes. A Celebration of June's Life will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at 5255 Glade Run Road, London, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in June's name may be sent to benefit the Newport United Methodist Church, 80 Center Street SE, London, Ohio 43140.
