SHAW

John Russell Shaw, 80, of Galloway, died Tuesday, December 7, 2021, in Doctors Hospital.

Born July 14, 1941, in South Solon, he was a son of John and Florence (White) Shaw.

John had been a truck driver, was a factory worker and a construction worker. He loved playing golf and was a member of FOE Aerie #950.

Survivors include his children Ty (Vivian) Shaw, Troy Shaw, Amy Shaw, Adam (Courtney) Shaw and Brenda Amburgey; 12 grandchildren; brothers and sisters Karen Shaw, Sheila Amrine, Jim Shaw, Rick (Lynn) Shaw and Serena Miller; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bill Shaw, sisters Jenny Gammell and Brenda Ellars.

Per John's request, visitation and funeral services will not be observed. Memorials in John's name may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
