ERNST

Jessica Ryan Ernst, of London, Ohio, passed away on November 26, 2022. Jessica was born on November 28, 1987, to Ruth Ann and Phil Ernst.

After she graduated from London High School, Jessica attended and graduated from Wilmington College receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture, majoring in Animal Science. Jessica had numerous jobs in the field including London Animal Hospital, Binney Rivers Organics, Sexing Technology, and Red Cross. Jessica's passion for animals had her establishing a traveling petting zoo. Jessica was also a lifelong 4H member and advisor. She shared her love of animals with her boys' frequenting zoos, aquariums, and farms.

When not busy with the boys, Jessica dedicated time to volleyball. She coached varsity at Westfall, West Jefferson, London, and Madison Plains. Additionally, she coached and was the administrator for London Elite Club Volleyball. Her love of volleyball cultivated lifelong friendships and provided ample opportunities for others who shared her passion of the sport. She truly cared about every athlete she worked with.

Jessica is survived by her children, Hunter William, Hayden Antonio, Hudson Ty, and Harrison Ryan. Her fiancé, Marco Ortiz, mother Ruth Ann Ernst (Aaron Lanigan), father Phil Ernst (Sherry), sister Jennifer Cassidy (Brandon), niece and nephew Amelia and Alex, brother James Ernst, grandmother Carolyn Tewksbury, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jessica is preceded by her grandfather James Tewksbury and her grandparents Mary and Emerson Ernst.

Harrison spent time with family before joining Jessica in heaven on November 28, 2022. At the time of his passing he was surrounded by loved ones. Jessica's love for her children will live on and the memory of Harrison will do the same.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 2:00 – 8:00 PM in the Madison County Vineyard, 106 Olive Street, London, Ohio 43140. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, beginning at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick School, 226 Elm Street, London, Ohio 43140, with Deacon Dan Hann officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Pleasant Cemetery, Mount Sterling. A celebration of Jessica's life will be held immediately following interment in the Mt. Sterling First Church of the Nazarene, 226 North Market Street, Mount Sterling, Ohio 43143.
