HARRIS

Jeffrey Brian Harris, age 62, of London, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 31, 2026, in New Vienna, Ohio.

Born on March 10, 1964, in Columbus, Ohio, Jeff was a son of Howard Patterson and Phyllis Carolyn Harris. Jeff dedicated over twenty years of service to London Correctional Institution where he retired as a Lieutenant. On June 12, 1987, he married the love of his life, Tamara (Lowe), and together they built a life centered around their family.

A firm believer in supporting the next generation, Jeff was an enthusiastic supporter of Madison County 4-H and London FFA. Outside of work, Jeff could usually be found turning wrenches on cars and trucks, off-roading, or mudding. He treasured the simple pleasures in life – cheering on his beloved Alabama Crimson Tide, and spending time swapping stories with his close friends at Nova J’s.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Tammy; his daughter April Harris and her boyfriend Shawn Carpenter; brother Richard “Rick” (Marcia) Harris, sister Jackie Harris; brothers-in-law Richard Hoosier and Brian “Choo” Hoosier, sister-in-law Tina Smith; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; bonus sons Kaiden, Elias, and Isaiah Robinson.

He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Phyllis, mother-in-law Carolyn Hoosier, father-in-law Robert Hoosier, aunts Sally and Mary.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140. A memorial service will then begin at 2:00 PM.
