BORDERS Jean Borders, 83, of London died Monday, December 24, 2018 in the Madison Senior Living Community. Born October 5, 1935 in Magoffin County, KY; she was a daughter of Saney and Maude (Gullett) Crace. Jean had worked for Madison County Hospital as a nursing secretary before retiring in 1998 and was a member of the Alder Chapel United Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Dewey "Jr." Borders; son Robert "Brenda" Borders; grandchildren Devan Jean (Allan) Humphries, Robert Brandon (Sarah) Borders, Rachel (Shamus) Estep, Amanda (Chris) Robinson and Sarah (Brandon) Creech; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Barry Borders, brothers Delmer Crace, Elmer Crace and Oren "Todd" Crace and sister Betty Mace. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St, London with Pastor Charles Smith and Pastor James Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Somerford Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 AM-1 PM Thursday.
