Janis Lee (Powers) (Smith) Miller, 79, of London died Friday, January 17, 2020 in The Ohio State University Hospital.

Born December 23, 1940 in South Solon, Ohio; she was a daughter of Joseph and Mary (Newsome) Powers.

A member of the London Church of Christ in Christian Union; Janis was a loving mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her daughter Alicia Hannah, sons Clark Smith and Clinton Smith; grandchildren Felicia (Jesse) Curry, CJ Smith, Wesley Smith, Angela Smith and Octavia (Kyle) Fauber; great grandchildren Zayleigh, Cullen, Jordon, Jermelle, Trinity, Jaiden, Karsyn, Kelley, Oakley and Colton; sister Sharlene Kearns; step daughter Diane (Tim) Millholland; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Loren "Junior" Smith, second husband Don Miller; grandchildren Ashley Smith and Nathan DeMent; step daughter Sue Miller; brothers Charles Duvall and Joey Powers; and sister Joann Current.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, January 21, 2020 in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London with Reverend Gordon Ell officiating. Private interment for the family will be held at a later time for the family. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 AM until time of services Tuesday.
