BRUMFIELD Janice Ann Brumfield, 81, of Springfield, formerly of London; died Thursday, June 8, 2017 in Springfield.Born July 23, 1935 in Gallia County; she was a daughter of Lawrence and Faye (Puckett) Sanders. Janice had worked for London City Schools for 21 years before retiring in 1987. She also attended the Northridge United Methodist Church and had been a former hospice and Meals on Wheels volunteer for Madison County.Survivors include her husband of 63 years Vance Brumfield; son Michael Brumfield of Springfield, daughter Julia (Paul) Hillard of London; grandson Jason Brumfield of London; sister Carolyn (Brent) Halley; several nieces and nephews; aunt Judy (Rev. Burkley) Sanders and good friends Paul and Donna Sidner of FL and Buck and Cathy Coldiron of Marion.She was preceded in death by her brother Gary Sanders.A memorial service will be held at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St, London at 2 PM Monday, June 12, 2017.
