LIGHTY
Jane Lee (Flora) Lighty, age 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 12, 2026, at home, surrounded by the love and faith of her family. Born May 24, 1945, in Modesto, California, Jane was a daughter of George Flora and Ruth (Rumble) Flora.
A devout Christian, Jane was a longtime and faithful member of the Eastside Church of God in Anderson, Indiana, where her love for her Lord guided every aspect of her life. Her faith was not only something she spoke about, but something she lived daily through kindness, generosity, and resilient strength.
Jane had a gifted and creative spirit. She found great joy in sewing, quilting, and decorating, sharing her talents through handmade gifts and a beautifully kept home that always reflected her warmth and care. Her quilts and other creations were not only works of art, but lasting expressions of love for family and friends.
Above all, Jane will be remembered for her gentle heart, steady faith, and the comfort she brought to those around her. She had a way of making people feel welcomed, valued, and loved.
Left to cherish her memory include her daughter Julia (Richard) Chamberlin and son Bradley Hackett; grandsons Zachary Wynn and Joshua (Chauntel) Wynn; great-grandchildren: Atlas Wynn, Locke Wynne, Coraline Wynn and Hannah Stobaugh-Wynn. She is also survived by brothers Ken (Susan) Flora, Paul (Beverly) Flora, and Martin (Lynn) Flora; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents George and Ruth.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140.
