It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of James "Jimmy" Lawhun. Jimmy was a kind, joyful soul with a big heart, a playful spirit, and a knack for bringing smiles and laughter to those around him.

Jimmy's children, McKenzie Lawhun (fiancé Jacob Markley) and Coldon Nichols, were his pride and joy. He shared a special bond with his siblings, working alongside his sister Jesica Ray (fiancé Joe Mayabb) in construction and sharing countless heartfelt conversations with his sister Toni Lechlitner (Brian Lechlitner). Recently, he connected with his father, Kerry Hill, and was building a meaningful relationship with him and his siblings on his father's side. Sundays were reserved for cheering on his beloved Green Bay Packers, a tradition he enjoyed with loyal dedication.

Jimmy found happiness in the little things—good food, fishing trips, and hours spent on his phone watching videos or playing online Monopoly, often driving his mother, Chris Chaney, a little crazy as he made himself comfortable on her bed.

Jimmy is survived by his children, his mother, his father, his brother Jonny Lawhun (Trisha Armstrong), his sisters Jesica and Toni, his siblings on his father's side, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Martha and Carl Lawhun, and his nephew, Zackary "Bub" Price.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM at Eberle-Fisher Funeral Home and Crematory, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Jack Davis officiating. In honor of Jimmy's laid-back style, come as you are—no need to dress up.
