DAVIS James M. Davis, of London, Ohio passed away peacefully on January 20, 2014 at 2:50 p.m. in London, Ohio. He was born on June 6, 1952 in Franklin County at St. Ann's Hospital to Robert (B.K.) and Kathryn (Ren) Peterson-Davis. He resided in Laguna Beach, California for 32 years where he was a highly talented and recognized self-employed (James Davis Designs) floral designer and interior decorator for many celebrities. Some of his clients included Elizabeth Taylor, Michael Jackson, Clint Black, Barbara Streisand and a host of others. He was a world traveler, across the United States as well as other continents. His favorite being Australia, He is survived by his brothers Robert G. (Margaret) of Canal Winchester, Larry E. of Galloway and sisters Barbara J. Davis of London, Joyce (Robert) Gore of Columbus, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and one (great-great niece) and loving friends. Preceded in death by his parents, sister Margaret Campbell of Talladega, Alabama and brother Ronald "Sandy" Wilson of London, Ohio. James wanted to give special thanks to his California family (The Wetterau's), his London High School Class of 1970 and special friend Tom Fintzell. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Saturday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London with Pastor Robert G. Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 AM until time of services on Saturday. The family suggest memorials be made to the funeral home.
