LEISTIKOW Jack Douglas Leistikow, 62, dear husband, father, and son, passed away March 15, 2014. He couldn't resist a day of sunshine and warm breeze. The golf course was calling his name. He arrived at National Road Golf Course around noon, chatted with the gentlemen inside, got his cart, loaded his clubs, and off he went. Unfortunately, he never got past the third hole. Jack had a massive heart attack and died instantly. He loved the game of golf and had more than once told us that when he died, that's where he wanted to be. Jack was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Edith and Harry Welch; mother-in-law, Sally Sheridan; and sister-in-law, Linda Coakley. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Cathleen Sheridan Leistikow; his children, Denver Thomas, Scot Jacob, and Andrea Marie; mother, Dolores Leistikow; brother, Terry (Jennifer); father-in-law, Larry Sheridan; nieces and nephews, Tricia Coakley, Thomas Coakley, Tiffany Coakley, Sheridan Leistikow, and Thomas Leistikow; and honorary family, Abbey Walls and Harvey Kozlowski. Visitation will be held at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY 103 N. Main St., London, OH Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from 2-4PM and from 6-8PM. Services will be held Thursday at 1PM.
