DURR Jack Wilbert Durr, age 67, of London, Ohio passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at the OSU James Cancer Hospital. He was born on August 16, 1951 in Aberdeen, South Dakota to Harry H. Durr and Emma M. Stroh Durr. He was a 1969 graduate of Aberdeen Central High School and he also attended the USC and Northern State University where he received his bachelor's degree. He worked as a machinist and later moved to Ohio to be closer to his grandchildren. Jack attended the St. John's Lutheran Church. In addition to serving as a technician for NHRA; Jack was an avid Denver Broncos fan, enjoyed gardening, cooking, Nascar and golf. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Jeanine Yost Durr in 2016. Survivors include his daughters: Carrie Anne Cavallo with her husband, Michael T. Windram and Kristine with her husband, Chris W. Clucus; grandchildren Cora and Ethan VanBuskirk; brothers Ronald (Ginger) Durr and Perry Durr; nieces Macie Durr and Monica Davis; great nieces Brynlee and Kadyn Davis; godfather Walter (Wilma) Stroh as well as a host of friends and his two K-9 companions, Dakota and Zoe. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 380 Keny Blvd., London. A second service and inurnment will be held at Whitemarsh Memorial Park in Ambler, Pennsylvania at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Jack's name to The James Cancer Center, 460 W. 10th Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43210 or St. John's Lutheran Church, 380 Keny Blvd., London, Ohio 43140.
