ELLEDGE Rev. J. Samuel Elledge, 71, of West Jefferson, went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ, Friday, October 21, 2016 after a 15 month battle with liver cancer. Survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Lynn (Worley) Elledge, daughters Kimberly Elledge and Lori (Elledge) Fonner, son in law Matt Fonner, granddaughters Halie and Krista Fonner, sister Marietta (Wolfe) Webster, brother in law Walter Webster, nieces Lanna Marie (Phill) Chatman and Lanita (Solomon) Woods and children. He was preceded in death by his father John Nathan Elledge and mother Myrtle (Smelser) Elledge. Friends may call at the London Apostolic Gospel Church, 101 Shady Ave, London on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-7:30 PM with the funeral following at 7:30 PM with Pastor Mark Schroder officiating. Interment will be at the family's convenience. If they wish, friends may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
