Ira Isaiah Gill
April 16, 1996 – June 29, 2026
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ira Isaiah Gill, on June 29, 2026, in London, Ohio.
Ira was born April 16, 1996 @ 9:09PM to Maria G. (Martin-Gill) Hill and Ray L. Gill. Born and raised in London, Ohio, Ira was a familiar face to many. A proud 2014 graduate of London High School, Ira went on to work various manufacturing jobs locally but always had a genuine passion for cooking and enjoyed sharing his food with others. He especially loved working as a cook for the residents of the Madison Senior Living Community before moving on to his most recent position working with the team at Allseal.
Throughout his life, Ira was known for his free spirit, corny laugh, and his sense of humor that normally resulted in sarcasm. He had a passion for gaming and loved spending time with family and friends. At first glance, he was often quiet – a man of few words who chose to observe first. Sometimes misunderstood by those who only scratched the surface, but for those lucky enough to be let inside his circle, you were met with a roaring, unforgettable, big personality, and a heart that knew no boundaries. He loved unconditionally and wholeheartedly. Known for his personality that was truly larger than life, Ira possessed a rare ability to turn any moment into something memorable. He lived out loud, loved fiercely, and was never afraid to speak his mind.
From your sister Hailey: “You had a heart so full of kindness and a light that made people feel welcome, I wish you could have seen yourself the way everyone else saw you. Someone with so much potential, so much love to give, and so much life ahead of you, our hearts are truly broken.”
Ira is survived by his mom Maria G. Hill and father figure Dave Hill, brother Caleb (Mary) Gill, and sister Hailey Hill; grandparents Ronald and Sharron Hill; aunts and uncles: Roberta Byerly, Charles Carson, Eleanor and Fred Ballard, Ira “Artie” Gill, Patty Fetters, Bobby Gill, Bill Manns, Jeffery “Todd” and Kim Martin, Ann and Kenny Priest, Brenda and Darrell Rojeski, Christine “Tenie” Hill, Freda and Jeff Fraser; Nephew Jackson Wyatt Howard Gill; Cousins: Aaron (Kelly) Rogers, Ava and Zoey Rogers, Adam, Skyler, Owen, and David Rogers, Carrie Worthington, Randy Smith, Jacob, Ben, Hannah (fiancé Sam Schafer), JT Martin, Jenifer (Gill) Campbell, Ryan and Nick Phillippi, Brooke (Gill) Parsley, Elijah Blair, Shila and Kilah Parsley, Stacy (Gill) Smith, Trent, and Tyler Gill, Marvin and Destiny Gill, Jodi Keller, Jason (Todd) Wilson, Kristine Pancoast, Heather Hines, Hope Thornsberry, Hillary Sanders, Tangela and Atha Angel, Annie Williams, and Tasha Bloomfield, Joanne and Sarah Priest, Brian and Alisha Rojeski, Michael and Andrew Davis, Jamie Fraser, Nicole Fraser, and Cassidy McNutt; many grand nieces, grand nephews, and cousins.

Gill; aunts Pat Brock, Theda Carson, Regina Gill, Vera Manns, Beverly Bloomfield; nephew Andrew James “AJ” Gill; cousins Analee Gill, Kathleen Bloomfield, Anthony Worthington, and Greg Smith.
