REYNOLDS
Howard M. Reynolds, age 91, of London, passed away Monday, August 3, 2026, in Riverside Methodist Hospital.
Born December 12, 1934, in Xenia, Howard was a son of Zachariah Reynolds and Edith P. (Jackson) Reynolds. A proud and honorable man, Howard served in the United States Army. Following his military service, he dedicated many years to his local community through his work as a dedicated loan officer at the former City Loan and Citizens/Advantage Bank.
Howard was a faithful and active pillar of the London community. He was a long-time devoted member of the First United Methodist Church of London, where he faithfully served as a treasurer for the church trustees. He also lent his organizational gifts to the London Lions Club, serving as their treasurer for many years.
While he took great pride in his service to his country and his community, Howard’s greatest joy in life was his family. Above all else, he loved his family more than anything in the world, and the memories created with them will be cherished forever.
Howard is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Lillie (Dáutremont) Reynolds; children: Becky (Kit) Carson, Jerry (Teresa) Reynolds, Edith “Edie” (Randy) Stroup, and Karen (David) Deao; 10 grandchildren: Anita (Jeff) Kitchen, Dawn (Jerry) Peters, Brittany Reynolds, Abigail “Abby” (Steve) Solomon, Rachelle Rauh, Danielle (Dan) Wilson, Zechariah Smith, Nathaniel (Amie) Smith, Dustin Deao, and Rebecca (Garrett) Thomas; adored great-grandchildren: Cody, Wayne, Nick, Rachel, Travis, Sarah, Samuel, Asher, Aleithia, Olive, Moses, Rose, Jude, Elizabeth, Abraham, Emma, Howard, and Paisley; nieces and nephews: Sonja (Michael) Pershing, Raymond (Eileen) Reynolds, Norbert (Kathy) Reynolds, Heidi (Matt) Reynolds, Walter (Anastasia) Reynolds.
He was preceded in death by his parents Zachariah and Edith, grandchildren Wesley Lewis and Victoria Deao, and brother John (Gabriel) Reynolds.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140.
