BEEKMAN Hilda I. Beekman, 62 of London died Sunday, April 17, 2016 at London Health and Rehab Center. Hilda was born December 7, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Lawrence and Virginia (Stickel) Beekman. Preceded in death by her parents, sister Blanche, nephew Jonathan "Lane" Beekman and Robert L. Morris. Survived by her brothers, John Beekman of West Jefferson, Mike (Susie) Beekman of Washington Court House and Tim (Deb) Beekman of London. Nieces Johnda Beathard, Keri Breniser, Lesley Snell, Holly Knotts, nephews Doug Swackhammer and Brian Beekman along with great and great-great nieces and nephews. Hilda graduated from Madison Plains in 1972 and had been involved in Rockin" On the Run as a volunteer since 2010. She had been involved in the past with Madison County Relay For Life and the Career Woman's Club. Hilda loved to travel especially to Florida. Most of all she loved being with her family, especially during the Holidays and around the Sunday dinner table. She was retired from Sears Logistic Services where she had worked for 43 years. Main St., London on Thursday, April 21, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 22, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Gaye Gossard officiating.
