SCOTT Herman Leon Scott, 63, of London died Thursday, April 26, 2018 in Woodview Care Center, Columbus. Born June 12, 1954 in Springfield; he was a son of Manuel and Mabel "Betty" Scott. Herman had been a nursing assistant at various nursing facilities including Arbors at London. During his tenure in nursing, he developed a great affection for those afflicted with Alzheimer's Disease. Survivors include his children Jennifer Scott (fiancée Gary Maitland), James Scott (fiancée Jennifer Bell-Freeman) and Johnstone Scott; grandchildren Anthony Johnson, Justin Johnson, Ajah Johnson and Darius Scott; sisters Mary Lou Gambino, Deborah Louise Scott, Madge Lenora Cameron and Elizabeth Ann Ikharo, brothers Michael Payne Scott, Kenneth Adler Scott and Martin Wilson Scott; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at 5 PM Tuesday, May 1 in the Eberle-Fisher Funeral Home, 103 N. Main Street, London. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-5 PM Tuesday. If they wish, friends may make memorial contributions in Herman's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
