BROWNING

Herbert "Herb" Browning, 84, of London died Saturday, May 25, 2024, in his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Born February 8, 1940, in Dayton, Ohio; he was the son of Herman O. and Mary (Grant) Browning.

A US Marine Corp veteran, Herb went on to work for General Motors for 30 years. He was a member of the Madison Memorial Post #105, American Legion and Chandler Lodge #138, F & AM, where he was active in Chapter, Council and Commandery.

He leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Dorothy Jean (Hall) Browning; children Nola (Terry) Lambert, Cheryl Templin and Mark (Dorene) Browning; seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; brother-in-law Neil O'Brien and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son James Browning, sisters Shirley Cathcart and Doris O'Brien.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, May 29, 2024, in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London, with Pastor Blair Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Deercreek Township Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 AM-1 PM Wednesday.
