RODDY Helen Roddy, 93, of London died Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Madison Health. She was born June 19, 1923 in Butte, Montana, the daughter of Roy P. and Sarah Heyman Morris. Helen was a longtime faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church of London and the Indian Lake Community Church in Russells Point, Ohio.She lived her faith and, over the years, lent her talents to the developmentally disabled, the American Cancer Society, London City Council, Alcoholics Anonymous, and the Kairos prison ministry. Survivors include her sons Lee Roddy of Missouri and Jim (Ruth) Roddy of London; grandchildren Matthew (Holly) Roddy of Coatesville, PA; Brent Roddy of Ft. Wayne, IN, Jill (Sean) Culler of Xenia and Chris (Stephanie) Roddy of Woodstock, GA; step-grandchildren Robyn (Devin) Thomas of Springfield and Rhonda (Chad) Dunkley of London; great grandchildren Jacob, Cole and Owen Roddy, Saxon and Olivia Culler and Emma, Erin and Liam Roddy; step-great grandchildren Billy, Katy, Colby and Tony Dunkley, and Gwyn and Seth Thomas; two nieces and one nephew, former daughter-in-law Janice Roddy of New Haven, IN and good friend Tom Edwards of Lima, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Neil Roddy in 2013; their baby daughter Janis; her brother and his wife, Ralph and Nancy Morris, grandson Thomas Roddy and daughter-in-law Sue Roddy. A Celebration of Helen's life will be held at 11 AM Friday in the First Presbyterian Church, 211 Garfield Ave, London with Rev. Gordon Johnson officiating.
