Obituary

WILLIAMS-JANN Hazel Williams-Jann, 78, of London died Thursday, April 14, 2016 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. Born October 11, 1937 in London; she was a daughter of James G. and Virgie (Hall) Fugett. Hazel was a well known seamstress owning and operating HWJ Sewing Shoppe and was an avid guest columnist for the Madison Press. She attended Maranatha Baptist Church in Columbus, where she sang in the choir. Known for her stout opinions on political and religious views, she was also a proud owner of a concealed carry permit. Survivors include her children Roger (Karen) Williams, Robin (Bobby) Lott, Dondi (Valerie Fuller) Williams, Melissa (David Johnson) Hart and Jamie Jann; 19 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; brother Jack (Helen) Fugett, sister Betty Mitchell and brother Bobby (Mary) Fugett and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roger Williams and brother Billy Fugett. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 11 AM in the Maranatha Baptist Church, 4663 Trabue Rd, Columbus with Pastor Tim Kenoyer officiating. Friends may call at the church from 10 AM until time of services. Memorials may be made to the Maranatha Church for all of the love and support that was given to Hazel over the years.
