Obituary

BAKER Harrison Baker, 88, of London died Wednesday, January 13, 2016 in Doctors Hospital, Columbus. Born February 9, 1927 in London; he was a son of Mary E. (Hubbard) and Harrison Baker, Sr. A US Navy Veteran of WWII, Harrison had been a conductor for Conrail for 35 years as well as farming for 40 years. He was a member of the Madison Memorial Post #105, American Legion, FOE Aerie #950 and the Madison County Senior Center and loved to ride his Harley. Survivors include his children Rick (Rhonda) Baker, Robin Mathias, Russell (Christine) Baker and Randall Baker, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, sister Imogene Radcliff; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Joy Alden (Flower) Baker, brother Ernie Baker and sister Peggy Johnson. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Saturday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St, London with Pastor Orinda Hawkins-Brinkley officiating. Interment will follow in Kirkwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon until time of services Saturday. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
