CANAAN Grace A. Canaan, 99, of Springfield, died Thursday, August 2, 2018 in Springfield. Born May 15, 1919 in Lawrence County, Kentucky; she was a daughter of Wiley and Rinda (Slone) Ramey. Grace had worked at the former Katherine Hines Clothing and Steven's Styles clothing stores in Springfield. Survivors include her son and daughter in law Earl L. and Donna Canaan, Jr. of South Charleston, daughter Virginia A. Long of Springfield, five grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Canaan, Sr., in 1988, one grandchild, one great-grandchild, three sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St, London with Reverend Larry Baker officiating. Interment follows in Kirkwood Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon until time of service Monday.
