LANDIS George Landis, 76, formerly of London, died Sunday, June 24, 2018 in Dayton. Born April 15, 1942 in London; he was a son of Dewey and Emma (Hood) Landis. George had worked various jobs; but was best known for his carpentry and was a member of the Madison Memorial Post #105, Aerie #950, Eagles and the former VFW in London. Survivors include his children Chuck (Susan) Landis, Vickie Zornes, Margie (Miguel) Sierra, Cathy Sue, Christina Caudill, Jackie Kilgore and Brandy (John) Caldwell; 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; companion Charlotte Hicks, sisters Doris and Dorothy, brother Vernon, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Cathy, daughter Penny, grandson Brandon, brothers Pete and Ralph and sister Edith.
